This position has direct customer interaction and leads the execution of program goals and objectives. You will learn the customer's business firsthand and contribute to technology roadmaps that align customer requirements with industry advancements and next generation capabilities. This is a fast-paced work environment that supports business operations for DoW civilian agencies and military services. As an experienced professional in CACI's growing Digital and Enterprise Solutions Line of Business , you will be part of a team environment that provides opportunities to grow and advance, while changing the way the government delivers software applications.
Responsibilities:
Lead the assessment, documentation, and re-architecture of the legacy ETL integration layer connecting Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud EPM.
• Design and implement a modern integration architecture using Oracle Data Management, EPM Automate, and an ETL tool (Databricks or Oracle-native equivalent).
• Own the end-to-end data flow - metadata governance through EDM, transactional actuals through Data Management, and reporting outputs through OAS/OAC.
• Resolve the structural BSS/EPM hierarchy mismatch that is causing parent-level OAS reporting failures.
• Drive EDM implementation as the metadata governance hub.
• Establish proper dependency management, job monitoring, alerting, and error handling across all agency data loads.
• Collaborate directly with agency technical leads, the DBA team and Oracle Support on infrastructure-level issues.
• Produce and present program documentation and briefings to PMO leadership.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 10+ years in enterprise application integration, including 5+ years in the Oracle ecosystem
• 5+ years of DoD/Federal financials and sustainment experience
• Hands on Oracle integration expertise-able to architect and build (not just advise)
• Experience as a solution architect implementing and supporting complex Oracle EPM solutions
• Oracle Data Management (EDM/DRM): building integration rules, data loads, and metadata transformations
• Oracle EBS integration: sourcing GL, Projects, and Purchasing data into downstream planning/analytics systems
• Oracle EPM Automate: scripting, scheduling, chaining, and orchestration of Cloud EPM jobs
• Oracle Analytics Server / OBIEE: understanding star schemas, EPM data exposure, and hierarchy alignment
• Enterprise Data Management (EDM): implementing or governing metadata distribution across EPM applications
• Integration technologies: JDBC connectivity, REST/SOAP APIs, Unix/Linux scripting, SQL/PLSQL
• ETL tools: experience with Databricks, ODI, Informatica, or similar
• Ability to read, maintain, and modernize legacy scripts and PL/SQL packages
• Strong documentation and presentation skills for program-level solution architecture
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain an IT II background investigation.
Desired:
• Oracle Cloud EPM Planning: Essbase concepts (BSO, Hybrid BSO, ASO), dimension design, and data mapping
• Groovy scripting for business rules, automation, and save rules within Oracle EPM
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): tenancy, OAM/OID configuration
• Experience supporting DoD financial programs (DoW, DLA, or similar defense agencies)
• Familiarity with PPBE budget cycles, fund accounting, and NGRMS reporting
• Experience with DoW SDLC processes: gated reviews, Dimensions, change management workflows.
