The Opportunity:
As a CACI Junior Project Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting critical national security missions for Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. This internship provides direct involvement in mission operations, project execution, business strategy, and technology integration. You will collaborate with senior leaders and teams, contributing to deliverables that drive customer engagement, operational excellence, and technology solutions. Designed for high-performing students, this role offers professional mentorship, exposure to senior leadership, and insight into how policy, strategy, operations, and technology intersect in defense and intelligence missions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You must be able to quickly learn and apply new collaboration technologies and present ideas professionally. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring effective teamwork and coordination in both virtual and in-person settings.
Responsibilities:
• Support project operations and coordination across business divisions, including action tracking, deliverable management, meeting preparation, and stakeholder synchronization.
• Conduct research on mission priorities, customer requirements, emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence, cyber, ISR, and autonomy), and market dynamics to inform growth strategy and business execution.
• Assist in the development of briefing materials, executive summaries, white papers, and analytical products for internal and customer-facing engagements.
• Support capture and proposal development teams by researching, solutioning, and coordinating inputs from technical, operational, and pricing teams.
• Track and analyze budget and pipeline data, maintain spend plans, opportunity databases, and resource alignment tools.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between program execution, solution architecture, operations, and growth teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Current student or recent graduate (undergraduate or graduate program)
