Job description

Cable Technician - TEKsystems

Position Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Cable Technician to support low-voltage cabling projects throughout the Nashville area, including work on the new Tennessee Titans stadium in downtown Nashville. This long-term contract is expected to run through February 2027 and will primarily involve new construction environments.

This is an intermediate-level position ideal for candidates with structured cabling, low-voltage, electrical, or construction experience who are looking to continue building their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install cable pathways, cable trays, and J-hooks
  • Pull and route Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
  • Terminate faceplates, jacks, and low-voltage connections
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of installed cabling
  • Follow project drawings, installation standards, and safety procedures
  • Work independently or as part of a team under the direction of an on-site lead
  • Support a variety of commercial and large-scale construction projects
Required Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
