Job description

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technology Foreman in our Structured Cabling Department within our Technology Division. This position will work closely with our manufacturing and production teams to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
The qualified candidate will manage technicians and apprentice technicians in the successful execution of projects with varying complexities.
Major Duties:
  • Planning and defining scope and mobilization plan.
  • Activity coordination/sequencing assistance.
  • Understand project specifications and construction drawings.
  • Be able plan resources, produce material requisitions, and manage supply chain.
  • Produce 6 week look ahead and assist in project labor projections.
  • Ability to interact with clients, general contractors, and other subcontractors.
  • Assist project teams to mitigate risks and issues.
  • Team leadership skills.
  • Utilize construction technology.
  • Experience in quality control and attention to detail.
  • Execute site commissioning and turnup.
  • Ability to understand customer expectations with excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a "Can-Do" positive attitude.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Ability to work overtime - weekend/evenings based on production needs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on the production floor.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ Years in structured cabling industry.
  • Experience running crews.
  • Hold safety in high regard.
  • Expect high level quality craftsmanship.
  • Willing to help educate team members.
  • Experience delivering large complex projects.
  • Bluebeam exposure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid driver's license.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays 7:00am - 2:00pm.
