Job description

We are currently hiring Low Voltage Cable Pullers with experience performing low voltage cable installation in a commercial environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the San Luis Obispo, CA area.

Low Voltage Cable Puller Duties:

  • Pulling and routing CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A, coax, and fiber optic cable in commercial new construction and remodel projects
  • Assisting with cable installation, routing, labeling, and securing cable pathways
  • Installing support structures including j-hooks, cable trays, and ladder racks
  • Assisting with the installation of telecommunications equipment and hardware
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment while following all job site safety requirements
  • Working alongside Lead Technicians and Foremen to complete projects on schedule

Low Voltage Cable Puller Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of commercial low voltage or structured cabling experience
  • Experience pulling, routing, and dressing low voltage cable
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work from ladders and lifts when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in commercial construction environments
  • Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites in the San Luis Obispo area
  • Basic PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, and work boots)

Compensation:

  • Competitive starting pay: $18/hr DOE
