This position requires a strong background in aerial coaxial and fiber optic installations, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights. Job Responsibilities
Install coaxial and fiber optic cable aerially from pole to pole
Lash cabling to guy wire and strap securely to utility poles using proper hardware
Perform pole transfers (moving cabling from old poles to new ones)
Read and follow engineered prints for overhead fiber layout and routing
Operate a bucket truck at working heights up to 30 feet
Work safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments
Meet at the Gadsden, AL shop daily; commute to job sites in company vehicle
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of verifiable aerial cable installation experience (10+ preferred)
Must provide your own basic aerial tools
Ability to pass a hands-on practical test (covering components, hardware, bucket truck use)
Clean driving record (required to be eligible for company-sponsored CDL, if needed)
Must pass drug screening and background check
