Description:
Client is looking for a Cable and Harness Technician to Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
Responsibilities of Cable and Harness Technician 2:
• Knowledge and understanding of the detailed aspects of cable designs. Verify material identification and ensure traceability during the fabrication and testing process.
• Validate quality of hardware and perform duties at a moderate complexity. Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored following engineering and planning requirements.
• Ensures completeness, accuracy, and adherence to procedures and shop practice. Communicate any inconsistencies, deviations, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
• The selected candidate will support lab fabrication, and other processes in a team-based environment
Basic Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 2:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of additional education and/or related experience
• The role involves moderate physical effort, repetitive tasks, and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 lb
• Ability read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics
• Must have active DOD Secret level clearance, and the ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 2:
• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
• Technical Degree or some college.
• Proficiency with hands-on mechanical assembly, electronics testing, and electronics evaluation.
