Description

Position Summary Seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians to support large-scale retail and commercial technology deployments across multiple customer environments. Technicians will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, network equipment, wireless access points, IP cameras, power systems, and associated low-voltage devices. Candidates must be comfortable working overnight schedules, utilizing lifts, and coordinating with electrical and networking teams to complete installations safely and efficiently. Qualified candidates will be expected to travel 100% for the duration of the project, company vehicle and gas card provided by client. Key Responsibilities Install, route, secure, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling. Perform RJ45 terminations and network cable testing to verify connectivity and performance. Install and configure wireless access points (WAPs) in retail and commercial environments. Replace legacy analog camera systems with new IP camera solutions, including installation of new network cabling. Install and mount surveillance cameras, network cabinets, racks, and related infrastructure. Pull, dress, label, and organize copper and fiber cabling according to customer standards. Install and support network switching equipment and associated networking hardware. Run and terminate fiber optic and copper network connections. Install low-voltage power wiring, including 12/2 power cable for network-connected devices. Support electrical installation activities, including running power from existing circuits to equipment locations. Install EMT conduit, junction boxes, pull boxes, and power supply infrastructure. Coordinate with electricians and project teams to complete integrated power and data installations. Install public video monitor (PVM) systems, including both network and power connectivity. Maintain accurate documentation, labeling, and quality standards throughout project execution. Operate scissor lifts and other elevated work platforms safely when performing overhead installations. Follow all customer, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
