Job description

Summary of Position:
ProCraft Cabinetry Phoenix is looking for an EXPERIENCED full-time Cabinet Assembler/Builder who will be responsible for the complete assembly process of a cabinet from start to finish. This role reports directly to the Production Lead/Supervisor. Please only apply if you have 1-2 years of cabinetry experience. Only these applicants will be considered. Please be prepared for cross-training through the general production line/warehouse based on the needs of the company.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Cabinet Assemblers/Builders are responsible for building quality cabinets and inspecting all parts of the cabinet before assembly for cleanliness and visible flaws.
  • Constructing cabinets according to specifications provided, including size, material, and design.
  • Assembling cabinet components such as doors, drawers, shelves, and frames.
  • Ensuring accuracy and quality in measurements and assembly processes.
  • Cabinet Assemblers/Builders inspect each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately and that the necessary finishes have been applied.
  • Making adjustments and/or repairs to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Cabinet Assemblers/Builders will utilize power tools such as Impact Drivers, Drills, and Air Powered Nail Guns to ensure the cabinets are built in a professional manner.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Reporting safety hazards or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and team members to meet production goals.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other departments regarding workflow
  • and production schedules and assisting coworkers, and providing support as needed.
  • Working efficiently to maximize productivity while maintaining quality standards.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting solutions.
  • Meeting or exceeding production targets and goals.
  • Contributing to the production of high-quality cabinets that meet or exceed customer expectations. - Addressing customer concerns or feedback related to product quality or performance.
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to meet deadlines, exhibit great attention to detail, and communicate in a professional manner.
  • Experience with cabinet fabrication, terminology, and 1-2 years of industry experience is required.
  • Experience with various pneumatic tools to perform work functions. (Air Powered Nail Guns, Impact Drivers, Drills, Etc.)
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
  • ProCraft will train to consistently meet/exceed production standards.
  • Cabinet Assemblers will work independently and as part of a team.
  • Responsible and hard-working with an open mind to learn.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Diligent and punctual. GOOD ATTENDANCE IS ESSENTIAL.
  • Be in good physical condition. Must be able to lift +50 pounds regularly.
  • Be flexible and open to new procedures and cross-training through departments are required and requested by Upper Management.
