We are an established custom cabinetry company focused on quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional products and service to our customers. We take pride in our work and are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our shop team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Cabinet Shop Worker to assist with the day-to-day production of cabinetry. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing things correctly, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and takes ownership of their work.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the production and assembly of cabinets and cabinet components
  • Read and follow shop drawings, measurements, and production instructions
  • Operate basic woodworking tools and equipment safely
  • Assist with cutting, sanding, drilling, assembly, and installation preparation
  • Inspect materials and finished components for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials and finished cabinetry
  • Assist experienced cabinetmakers with various shop tasks
  • Follow established production processes and quality standards
  • Complete tasks accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines
  • Communicate any material, measurement, or production issues to the appropriate team member
  • Perform other shop-related duties as needed
Qualifications

Required:

  • Reliable and dependable

  • Comfortable working with hand and power tools
  • Able to follow instructions and measurements accurately
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials
  • Willingness to learn new skills and processes
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Preferred:

  • Previous cabinet, woodworking, carpentry, or construction experience
  • Experience reading shop drawings or 2D plans
  • Familiarity with cabinet construction and hardware
  • Experience using woodworking machinery
  • Basic understanding of measurements and fractions
