Job description

JSI Cabinetry & Avance Cabinetry, are leading United States kitchen and bath cabinetry suppliers committed to fast delivery of the highest quality cabinetry.
We are looking for Cabinet Assemblers to join our team at JSI Cabinetry! Assemblers will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing cabinets according to standard operating procedure. This position involves using various tools, equipment and materials to ensure high-quality craftmanship and the timely completion of projects.
This role is based on a performance- based pay structure with weekly earning potential tied directly to productivity. Higher weekly output results in a higher total hourly rate. Our rates range from $16.50- $27.30 hourly, with most employees averaging $18- $21, while high performers can earn more.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow established procedures including using appropriate tools and hardware components to assemble cabinets.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain and clean tools, machinery, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members, including supervisors, and other assemblers, to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating tools and machinery.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Additional certification or training in carpentry or cabinet making is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, and precision.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively and safely
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should be able to lift up to 49lbs.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Safety shoes are required.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday. 7:00am to 3:30pm
