Position Overview

We’re hiring a Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team and handle both shop and on-site work. This role involves everything from fabricating custom cabinets and millwork to installing them in the field. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in cabinetry, and confident installing high-end finishes in both commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry and millwork in-shop
  • Install cabinets, doors, drawer fronts, and related components on-site with precision
  • Accurately read and follow installation drawings and project plans provided by Arise
  • Install trim elements such as crown molding and 1/4" toe kicks
  • Scribe fillers to irregular surfaces for a clean, professional finish
  • Transport and handle cabinetry carefully to avoid damage during loading/unloading
  • Maintain a clean, organized setup using the company-provided work van
  • Collaborate with teammates to improve workflow and tool organization
  • Communicate clearly with clients and project managers on-site
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges to keep projects on schedule

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cabinet installation (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment (must supply personal hand tools)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong trim carpentry skills, including scribing and molding installation
  • Confident with tape measurement down to 1/16" accuracy
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Physically able to lift and maneuver heavy cabinetry
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
