Job description

Summary/objective 

The Cabinet Sales position manages the full cabinet design and sales process, from initial client consultation to final order. This role requires strong proficiency in 2020 Design or Cabinet Vision, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate customer needs into accurate, functional, and production-ready designs. The Cabinet Sales Associate ensures high-quality customer service, precise order processing, and timely project coordination

Essential functions:

  • Assist clients throughout the full project lifecycle, including measurements, design, material selection, quoting, order accuracy, and scheduling.
  • Produce detailed kitchen and bathroom layouts using 20/20 CAD or Cabinet Vision software.
  • Prepare written layouts, drawings, renderings, and design documents for customer review.
  • Generate accurate countertop and cabinet estimates.
  • Interpret builder specifications, architectural drawings, and customer needs to produce compliant, functional designs.
  • Apply critical thinking to select the right products for functional, efficient layouts.
  • Identify and resolve design, measurement, or specification issues with minimal direction.
  • Interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and follow established workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, installers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Strong proficiency in 2020 cabinet design software
  • Experience with cabinet order processing
  • Confident decision-making

Preferred education and experience:

  • Bilingual in Spanish


Additional eligibility requirements:

  • Must meet all flooring and cabinet department safety standards and internal policies.
  • Must be available to work weekends and a flexible schedule, including any day of the week, based on store hours and business needs.
