Job Summary

The Cabin Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cabin cleaning operations, ensuring that aircraft are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently in accordance with airline standards and safety regulations. This role supervises a team of cleaning agents, assigns tasks, and ensures all work is completed to the highest standard. The supervisor also ensures compliance with safety protocols, manages the inventory of cleaning supplies, and coordinates with other departments to ensure timely turnarounds.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of cabin service agents to ensure the timely and thorough cleaning of aircraft.
  • Assign tasks and ensure that cleaning standards and schedules are met according to airline guidelines.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols, including handling cleaning supplies safely.
  • Inspect the cleaned cabins to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and are free of hazards.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and order new materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with ground operations and flight crew to ensure timely turnarounds.
  • Train and onboard new staff members, ensuring they understand cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any incidents or issues to management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or ground services.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and ensure high performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and operational protocols.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of aircraft cleaning protocols and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safety tools used in aircraft cleaning.
  • Additional certifications in safety or ground services.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and on different levels of aircraft.
  • Comfortable working in varied weather conditions (indoor and outdoor).
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, stretching, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in a high-noise environment with hearing protection.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for safety.
