A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a C Programmer
Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 to 18 Months
Location: Jersey City, NJ
As a C Programmer you will:
The ideal candidate will have: Must have Skills:
•      5+ years of experience in C programming language to the point where minor changes can be made, compiled and deployed
•     Experience working on CGI programming and Apache Web Servers

• Must have worked with messaging interfaces, preferably IBM MQ
• Experience working on Sybase
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX and Perl

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to take ownership of tasks assigned.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Responsible for analysis, programming, and implementation of changes in diverse mainframe-based applications.
• Ability to unit test and integration test all the changes effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with other programmers.
• Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from subject matter expert

• Good experience in query tuning and database modeling
• Experience with connectivity to the Mainframe, including Shadow Direct.
• Experience with Apache Web Servers
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates.
• Working knowledge of .Net and Java would be an asset.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $65 to $68 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
