About the role
Bar Bibi at Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking an energetic, polished, and hospitality-driven Tanning Butler to elevate the guest and member experience poolside. Inspired by luxury resort service concepts found at premier destinations, this role blends attentive hospitality, wellness-minded service, and elevated guest engagement in a vibrant social atmosphere.
The Tanning Butler is responsible for creating a seamless and indulgent poolside experience through personalized guest and member interactions, curated amenities, sunscreen assistance, refreshment service, and proactive hospitality. This position is ideal for someone with a warm personality, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for luxury service.
This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah.
What you'll do
  • Deliver attentive and anticipatory poolside service to hotel guests and members at Bar Bibi.
  • Offer sunscreen and hydration assistance in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Circulate poolside with chilled towels, facial mists, infused waters, frozen grapes, and other curated amenities
  • Assist guests with lounge setup including towels, umbrellas, seating arrangements, and comfort requests.
  • Maintain an elevated and engaging atmosphere while embodying the Hotel Bardo brand and culture.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the pool deck and lounge areas.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve service opportunities before they arise.
  • Support special events, activations, and seasonal programming at Bar Bibi.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort offerings, menus, membership experiences, and hotel amenities to confidently assist guests.

Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality, luxury hotel, pool, beach club, spa, or food & beverage experience preferred.
  • Outgoing, confident, and guest-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in warm weather conditions.
  • Professional appearance and polished demeanor required.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
