What are the duties of a butler?

A butler, sometimes referred to as a house manager, performs service tasks in a large house or hotel. They often organize the daily operations of a house, such as answering calls, completing maintenance tasks, maintaining security, managing clothing inventory, scheduling food delivery, and helping plan daily routines or events, such as dinner parties.
