We are currently seeking a full-time physician to join our team at Reception and Medical Center (hospital setting) located in Lake Butler, Florida. Reception and Medical Center is located 35 miles north of Gainesville and 21 miles south of Lake City.

The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases. This facility has 80-90 beds on the inpatient unit. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

This position has a rotating shift as follows:

  • Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (7:00am-5:30pm)
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday (7:00am-5:30pm)

Qualifications:

โ€ข Active, unrestricted FL MD/DO license or ability to obtain one required โ€ข Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority โ€ข Ability to pass credentialing and background check
