This is Butler's Pantry.


And we are looking for someone who lives to serve and knows that teamwork is the foundation of success to join our team as a Prep Cook.


Our Prep Cook ensures all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet the specifications and commitment to quality set forth by Butler's Pantry.ย 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

GET THE JOB DONE (The necessary stuff)

  • Arrive at your station ready to work at scheduled time and in proper uniformย 
  • Complete prep lists in an efficient, timely manner
  • Use culinary knowledge in combination with company recipes when prepping or assisting with any other production step to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly
  • Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards and perform portion control testsย 
  • Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a "like new" conditionย 
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and be a good example to fellow employees to do the same
  • Practice sanitation and food safety at all times ย 

Additional Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Culinary experience with a caterer or restaurant
  • Ability to chop, dice, measure, read prep lists, and follow instruction
  • Safe food handling and safety is a top priorityย 
  • Professional appearance and conductย 
  • Capable of executing and following recipes
  • Team player
  • Ability to handle a physically demanding role (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads)
  • Ability to work a flexible and sometimes non-traditional schedule based on event demands
