Job description

Assembly Technician
Thomasville, GA  |  $15.00 - $17.00 / Hour
 
We are looking for an assembly technician who will be responsible for assembling golf cart products using hand tools and power tools. The ideal employee would have previous warehouse and hand/power tool experience.
 
Responsibilities
  • Assemble golf cart products using hand tools and power tools
  • May operate forklift occasionally
  • Drive golf carts for at least one mile after finishing their assembly for vibrations, steering, etc.
  • Demonstrate good time management skills as it gets very busy
  • Pay great attention to detail for precise work 
  • Use a variety of specialty hand tools (torque wrench, etc.), power tools, and air tools
  • Aid coworkers and the manager with additional duties as needed
 
Requirements
  • Clean Drug Test
  • Willing to undergo Criminal Background Check
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Ability to lift up and move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to understand detailed instructions for assembly
  • Some knowledge of mechanic tool sets preferred
  • Dress in jeans, t-shirt, and work boots (does not have to be steel toe, but cannot be tennis shoes)
  • Great communication

Location: Thomasville, Georgia
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with overtime available
