What will you be doing?
As an Contract Enhanced Support Worker (ECA or RECE), you will work side-by-side with teachers and children to provide enhanced support to children with special needs. Responsibilities include:
โ€ข Helping children with various degrees of need in the learning environment.
โ€ข Planning and implementing programming based on needs of children.
โ€ข Providing support to other classroom staff.
โ€ข Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
โ€ข Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
โ€ข Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) OR Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
โ€ข Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
โ€ข Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
โ€ข Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
โ€ข 1 year of experience working in the childcare field or in a position with children who have diverse learned or developmental delays preferred
