Job description

$16 per hour
Job Summary
Sales Representatives sell new, pre-owned, and brokered homes in a specified manufactured housing community. They show, advertise, and market the homes. They are also responsible to prepare home orders, and coordinate closings.
Job Duties
  • Shows prospective buyers new, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale in the community (Essential)
  • Coordinates model presentation (i.e. repairs, warranty work, cleaning, furniture) (Essential)
  • Coordinates and manages the Lease Purchase Program, including submitting service requests and following-up on repairs, leasing and follow-ups, renewals and LPP sale conversions (Essential)
  • Requests closing packages and performs closings (Essential)
  • Advertises and markets homes for sale in the resort/community (i.e. ads, flyers, mailers, banners, visits local employers, etc.) (Essential)
  • Collaborates with Sales Manager and/or appropriate manager to select sites for Sun Homes models. Prioritizes site preparation for Sun Homes models
  • Recommends inspections and purchases of pre-owned or repossessed homes
  • Reviews and authorizes invoices for payment pertaining to Sun Homes Sales
  • Coordinates open house planning with the Sales and/or appropriate Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2 years in experience in sales, preferably in the real estate industry (Required)
  • Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency with the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and provide data entry in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
