Job description

The IT Intern position provides an entry level opportunity for students studying and interested in an Information Technology career. This role provides technical skills development and earn real world IT experience that provides a competitive advantage preparing for a career as an IT professional.
As an IT Intern with Community First Credit Union, you will:
  • Learn and develop skills in information technology to include networking of computers, delivery, or development of applications, as well as best practices in managing technology
  • Develop skills needed to effectively communicate with IT professionals who specialize in infrastructure, systems, and applications
  • Assist staff in performing system maintenance functions
  • Participate in IT Asset Lifecycle Management replacing desktop equipment monthly
  • Assist in hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Perform special projects as needed and determined by the manager
  • Develop planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Develop interpersonal skills in order to communicate with employees and business contacts through follow up calls
