Business Systems Analyst
Our Acheson-based Client is searching for a Business Systems Analyst who is responsible for supporting and improving the technology systems, business processes, and reporting capabilities that enable the Client to operate efficiently and make informed decisions. This role works closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, and external technology partners to identify opportunities for improvement, enhance system utilization, support reporting requirements, and lead technology-related initiatives. The Business Systems Analyst ensures systems, data, and processes align with organizational objectives and support operational excellence.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Ensure Business systems effectively support operational and financial objectives
  • Provide Business leaders with confidence in the accuracy, accessibility, and usefulness of operational and financial data
  • Establish Technology solutions improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Validate KPI reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable
  • Confirm Data quality is maintained and continuously improved
  • Ensure Technology projects are completed successfully and deliver expected business outcomes
  • Provide responsive support and demonstrate strong adoption of business systems
  • Validate Vendor relationships are managed effectively and service expectations are met
Your strengths include:
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management, systems administration, or data analytics are considered an asset
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting business systems, technology solutions, reporting, analytics, or process improvement initiatives
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical system solutions
  • Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or business intelligence tools
  • Experience managing technology vendors and coordinating system implementations
  • Strong understanding of business processes, data management, and continuous improvement principles
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or related industries is considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract
