Position SummaryThe SOP & Process Documentation Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized company documentation to improve operational consistency, employee training, compliance, and knowledge retention. This role partners with leaders across the organization to capture critical processes, create clear and effective procedures, and ensure employees have access to current and accurate information.Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position plays a key role in strengthening organizational effectiveness by improving process clarity, supporting onboarding and training initiatives, and building a sustainable documentation framework across the company.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop, write, maintain, and manage company-wide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, policies, and process documentationPartner with department leaders and subject matter experts to document critical processes and workflowsIdentify gaps in existing procedures and lead efforts to create, update, and standardize documentationEstablish and maintain document control processes, including version management, approvals, and periodic reviewsCreate training materials, process guides, job aids, and reference documentation to support employee developmentSupport onboarding initiatives by ensuring employees have clear expectations, procedures, and resourcesMaintain a centralized documentation repository and ensure accessibility across the organizationFacilitate process reviews to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, consistency, and knowledge transferAssist with compliance initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement activitiesPartner with HR, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment between processes and people practicesPromote a culture of accountability, standard work, and continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Technical Writing, Organizational Development, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in documentation, process improvement, technical writing, or a related fieldStrong ability to translate complex processes into clear, easy-to-follow documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with employees at all levelsExperience working in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, or document management systems preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
