Job description


• Partner with APLA geo and territory ops and logistics business teams to create a comprehensive solutions roadmap and working back with Global Tech teams for design, development and deployment
• Provide a consistent strategy and plan to drive the new digital partnershipsdesign and development
• Engage and help roadmap on critical network strategy work and key programs in capacity and network expansion
• Build expertise and knowledge of the APLA solution stack and the varied nuances to drive consistency
• A clear tech representation with APLA Logistics team and also APLA MPO team and be the tech thought leader and SME in room and depend on global SME pool that is severely capacity constrained
• Create and own tech solution and capability roadmaps for logistics and MPO capabilities
Requirements
  • Soundknowledge and understanding of logistics, transportation and distributionprocesses
  • Soundknowledge of the technology solutions and options in all the logistics,transportation and distribution
  • Knowledge ofworking in a heavy 3rd party logistics (3PL) environmentand working with diverse set of logistics partners
  • Ability tothink quick and act while managing tactical business needs but still havean eye for the future needs
  • Strategicthinking, demonstrated ability to create a vision and strategy and see itthrough execution
  • Demonstratedability to work in very challenging and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated abilityto work through diverse and geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills
