Job description

Sr. Internal Business Systems Analyst

Location:Madison, Wisconsin

Role Type: Contract

Overview:
Seeking a Sr. Internal Business Systems Analyst to support Wisconsin DHS Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) modernization initiatives. The role will focus on consolidating business operations into two IT systems, improving business processes, supporting technology implementation, and driving user adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects through planning, execution, implementation, and post-project activities.
  • Analyze and improve business processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors.
  • Support system implementation, UAT, automation, and process improvements.
  • Develop training materials and support user adoption and change management.
  • Identify duplicate/manual processes and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare project plans, status reports, metrics, documentation, and process maps.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, stakeholder discussions, and training sessions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Business Analysis, Project Management, and Process Improvement experience.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience working with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with change management, training, UAT, and technology implementations.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred.

Preferred: Experience in organizational modernization, training development, technical communications, regulatory/compliance systems, and initiatives focused on centralizing business operations.
