Job Summary

Assists in Managing the day-to-day functionality of the Business Intelligence network. Assists in the creation and testing of analytic methods for business intelligence improvement for merchandise requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Analyzes current business trends and projects sales to highlight potential risks and opportunities.

  • Identifies data requirements and merchant needs to develop reports used for business analysis.
  • Identifies opportunities for improved analytics and distribution by collaborating with end users.
  • Develops and manages the business intelligence analytic workflow and schedule
  • Develops and provides analysis of marketing metrics as scheduled
  • Assists in collection of data for updates on the creative design of the business intelligence solution.
  • Performs day-to-day ad hoc analytic requests as needed from Code M.
  • Reviews Code M planning metrics for accuracy and provides input for corrections.
  • Assists in the creation of curriculum for planning processes and fundamentals for retail math and business intelligence systems.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Excel and Access.
Performs other related duties as assignedGENERAL EXPERIENCE

Three years of experience in merchandising technical or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain a knowledge of merchandising and procurement practices skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgment.

OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE

One year of education above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelor s degree for three years of general experience. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Three years of experience that provided background in data warehousing analytical reporting analyzing financial results or similar work which demonstrated the knowledge and ability within the operational area.
