Business Intelligence & Analysis Manager
As BI & Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of motivated data analysts and BI developers, driving reporting and insights projects from inception to launch. A successful candidate will have a strong sense of leadership, management, problem solving, teamwork, accountability, and the ability to understand business functions and requirements. A successful BI & Analysis Manager does not only promote innovative reporting solutions and navigate competing priority tradeoffs, but also strives to deliver positive impacts throughout the organization.
What You Will Do:
  • Lead a wide variety of BI and analytics projects and deliver positive impacts throughout the organization.
  • Build and maintain partnerships and communications with key teams across ecosystems.
  • Work closely with product managers and leads/managers of other teams to prioritize the reporting and analysis needs to be delivered by the team.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to deliver business reporting and drive insights creation-to-consumption across all levels.
  • Help the organization leverage data and insights in a transformative way to move beyond descriptive KPIs and deliver game-changing, data-driven recommendations.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the business to identify opportunities and translate business requirements into manageable BI and analysis projects for the team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service BI tools, ensuring accuracy, validity, and reliability of insights delivered to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of quality and accuracy checks across dashboards and reporting outputs.
  • Perform root cause analysis in response to data discrepancies or reporting anomalies, partnering with the Data Engineering team to resolve underlying pipeline issues.
  • Anticipate the need for data governance and work with privacy teams to ensure that reporting and data handling procedures meet both global and local compliance requirements.
  • Prepare accurate, easy-to-follow documentation for every dashboard and reporting process.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and evaluate the applicability of new BI tools/methods to the organization.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative disciplines.
  • 4+ years of experience in leadership roles in the business analytics or BI space within the gaming industry.
  • 4+ years of technical experience in business intelligence and analytics, utilizing tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Synapse Analytics (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in data visualization and storytelling for executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Experience working across teams and divisions, with a history of building partnerships.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and working alongside data engineering teams.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment where your work changes rapidly in response to customer feedback and data.
  • Excellent attention to detail with desire to learn and master new technologies.
