Job description

A Business Development Representative (BDR) at Growth Management Solutions plays a critical role in expanding our market presence by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients. BDRs are on the front lines of growthโ€”building initial relationships, understanding business needs, and creating opportunities for our Solution Architects and delivery teams to succeed.

Unlike traditional sales roles focused solely on closing, BDRs focus on opening doors and creating momentum. They serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, representing the Growth Management Solutions brand with professionalism, insight, and a consultative approach. Their efforts directly fuel the companyโ€™s growth pipeline and long-term success.

Business Development Representatives receive structured training, proven messaging, and ongoing support to ensure success in outreach and lead generation. With access to established tools, marketing resources, and a clear growth framework, BDRs can confidently engage decision-makers and introduce Growth Management Solutionsโ€™ services in a meaningful way.

This role offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in business development, develop deep market knowledge, and grow professionally within a trusted and established organization. High-performing BDRs may advance into senior sales, solution architecture, or leadership roles, making this position an ideal entry point for long-term career growth.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential clients who may benefit from Growth Management Solutions services.
  • Build initial relationships with prospective clients.
  • Serve as one of the first points of contact for new business opportunities.
  • Understand business needs through a consultative and professional approach.
  • Qualify potential clients and determine whether they are a good fit for GMS solutions.
  • Create new opportunities for Solution Architects and delivery teams.
  • Support the companyโ€™s growth pipeline through outreach, lead generation, and relationship building.
  • Represent the GMS brand with professionalism, insight, and confidence.
  • Use GMS messaging, tools, and marketing resources to support prospect conversations.
Must Haves
  • Strong communication and outreach skills.
  • Ability to identify and engage decision-makers.
  • Professional and consultative approach to prospecting.
  • Confidence in starting conversations with potential clients.
  • Ability to qualify business needs and recognize strong opportunities.
  • Motivation to help grow the GMS client pipeline.
  • Willingness to follow structured training, messaging, and business development processes.
  • Relationship-focused mindset.
Nice to Haves
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, lead generation, client outreach, or customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with professional services, consulting, technology, operations, or business growth solutions.
  • Existing business network or local market knowledge.
  • Experience using CRM tools, marketing resources, or sales enablement systems.
  • Ability to research prospects and personalize outreach.
  • Interest in growing into senior sales, solution architecture, or leadership roles.
