Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and drive new utility-scale wind project opportunities across Canada
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs, consultants, and key industry stakeholders
- Lead project opportunities from origination through contract negotiation and award
- Coordinate internal commercial, technical, and engineering teams to develop competitive customer solutions
- Support project qualification, customer engagement, and opportunity development throughout the sales cycle
- Monitor market trends, policy developments, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities
- Develop long-term account strategies and strengthen Envision's presence within the Canadian renewable energy market
- Support commercial negotiations and ensure smooth project handover to execution teams
Qualifications and Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in the wind energy industry
- Proven track record in business development, key account management, project sales, or project origination
- Strong network within the Canadian renewable energy ecosystem, including developers, utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and consultants
- Experience working for a wind OEM, renewable developer, utility, or related organization
- Familiarity with project development processes, including utility engagement, grid interconnection, and project approval requirements
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management capabilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive projects independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
