Position Overview
Core Space's Development Intern will support the Development Managers to help with various project activities during the delivery of their assigned Development Project.
What You Will Do
  • Assistance with the project delivery and close-out in order to facilitate a successful completion and turnover.
  • Project close-out will include punch-list review/tracking/coordination, FF&E (fixtures, furnishing, and equipment) delivery/coordination/installation, unit and common area set-up, as well as assisting the Development Team and Management team during move-ins.
  • Beyond project close out the Development Intern may assist with review & enforcement of contractual requirements for design & construction professionals; meet with contractors, architects, engineers & consultants to review projects' status and resolve issues; review & analysis of potential changes to budget or schedule; and attend project meetings.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation

Anticipated Schedule
  • Part-time hours (10-20 hours/week) through the Fall and Spring semesters and Full Time hours (30-40 hours/week) through Summer
