Job description

As a Business Continuity Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in strengthening the resilience of our organization and ensuring that critical business operations remain functional during disruptions and crisis situations. As a part of the Corporate Resilience and Security Department you will be working closely with stakeholders across Site Security, IT, Operations, Facility Management, and Business Units, and will help establish and continuously improve our Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework. Your mission is to identify risks, develop resilient processes, and ensure that Quantum Systems is prepared to respond effectively to incidents while supporting our continued growth in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

What is your Day to Day Mission:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) program and related processes and achieve ISO 22301 certification.

  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and support risk assessments to identify critical business functions and dependencies, develop, implement and regularly reassess RTOs and RPOs.

  • Coordinate the creation, maintenance, and testing of business continuity, recovery, incident, emergency, and crisis management plans across the organization.

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure continuity requirements are integrated into operational processes and projects.

  • Organize and facilitate continuity exercises, tabletop simulations, and support crisis management drills to validate preparedness and response capabilities.

  • Support the development of resilience strategies to mitigate operational, technological, and organizational risks.

  • Monitor and evaluate disruptions, incidents, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain BCM documentation, reporting structures, governance frameworks, and management presentations.

  • Work closely with Corporate Security, IT, and Facility Management to align continuity, emergency response, and recovery activities.

  • Support audits, compliance initiatives, and certifications related to business continuity and organizational resilience.

What you bring to the team:
  • A degree in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.

  • Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, Corporate Security, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of BCM frameworks and standards such as ISO 22301, operational resilience principles, or crisis management methodologies.

  • Experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, and continuity planning activities.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to identifying risks and developing practical solutions.

  • A proactive and resilient mindset with the ability to remain effective during dynamic and high-pressure situations.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, enabling you to engage with stakeholders at different organizational levels.

  • High levels of integrity, reliability, and ownership in managing sensitive information and critical processes.

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries is considered an advantage.

  • Fluency in English and German.
