As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL; or Cleveland, OH
As a Business Analytics Consultant, you will support key segments including premier client services, wealth management, and consumer lending. This is a highly visible role offering direct exposure to senior finance leaders and retail and wealth management executives, where your insights will help drive strategic decisions and business performance.
In this role, you will leverage SQL, SAS, and other coding languages to extract and analyze data for monthly reporting, ad hoc analyses, business cases, and ongoing data research. You will modify existing code and develop new processes to meet evolving data needs, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and efficiency. A key responsibility includes integrating and transforming complex datasets into meaningful views and actionable insights.
You will design and deliver impactful data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau and Excel, ensuring optimal performance with large datasets. Additionally, you will build dynamic financial models to support business initiatives and evaluate strategic opportunities.
Collaboration is critical in this role-you will partner with finance teams, data analysts, and modelers across the organization to enhance data capabilities, recommend data field improvements, and promote best practices. You will also identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve scalability, and implement strong controls and validation measures to maintain data integrity.
The ideal candidate brings strong financial and analytical expertise, including experience in financial modeling, accounting principles, and data analysis.   • Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
  • Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
  • Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.
