TMG is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players interested in a career rather than just a job. With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.
The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of assigned TMG operations. The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst will track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact TMG. The Business Analyst will be a Project Manager and lead a number of key projects for TMG and its clients. The Business Analyst will be the functional expert on the specified application(s) used for tracking metrics and SLA's.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
> Data collection - Gather data from internal systems, databases and external sources
> Data cleaning & validation - Resolve missing values, duplicates, and inconsistencies; ensue accuracy before analysis
> SQL Querying - write queries to extract and transform data from relational databases
> Statistical analysis - Perform descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, and A/B test interpretation.
> Data visualization - build dashboards and reorts using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
> KPI monitoring - Track performance metrics to evaluate business initiatives.
> Stakeholder communication - Present insights in clear business terms for non-technical audiences
> Build monthly, quarterly and annual business review decks using PowerPoint and Power BI
Qualifications and Requirements:
> High School diploma or equivalent
> Must be able to pass background check, fingerprint check and credit check.
> Must be highly proficient with Excel, Power BI and SQL
> Strong communication skills for translating data into business insights
> Excellent reading, writing and comprehension of the English language.
> Comfortable working in a fast- paced environment
> Comfortable working under a deadline
