Job SummaryThe Analytics Consultant leverages technical skills and healthcare knowledge to support medical drug pricing and reimbursement strategies, with a focus on facility-based fee schedules. The role delivers actionable insights to drive cost management and pricing optimization, while supporting reporting development, data validation, and process automation. It also includes mentorship to build and expand managed care knowledge and experience.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master's degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field

  • Understanding, and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.

  • Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python.

  • Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical drug pricing, reimbursement strategies, or facility-based fee schedule development
  • Familiarity with NDC and HCPCS mapping, including alignment and conversion of NDC and HCPCS units
  • Experience utilizing transparency data sources and industry benchmarks (e.g., machine-readable files, CMS ASP data) to support pricing and reimbursement analysis
  • Ability to apply benchmarking methodologies to evaluate reimbursement rates and identify optimization opportunities
  • Experience supporting or developing preferred drug strategies
  • Proven experience working with large-scale healthcare datasets using Teradata or similar data platforms
  • Ability to manage end-to-end analytical workflows, from data extraction and validation through analysis and development of actionable insights

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
