Full-time

Job description

As the largest CPA in Northern Colorado, Soukup, Bush and Associates is a growing and thriving organization made up of approximately 50 associates who provide professional tax services, audit and accounting services, valuation consulting, cost segregation studies, education, bookkeeping, and small business planning. You can find out more about us at soukupbush.com.

We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant with a great attitude and creative eye to support our growing and dynamic firm - one who not only has the skills required for the role, but one who understands our culture well enough to represent it and our team well. We don’t require a specific background as an Administrative Assistant in a CPA office, but we do require experience in administrative assistance supporting a business leader in an office environment. That’s because this Administrative Assistant position will work directly with and report directly to two firm partners.

The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, eager to learn, and brings a creative eye and an inspiring and engaging flair to their work. This role primarily assists partners, so attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive mindset are especially important. Because you'll interact regularly with clients and partners, professionalism, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect with people from diverse industries are key. You should be comfortable navigating a range of personalities with a calm, confident, solution-oriented approach.

Our Administrative Assistant will:

  • Have a few years of experience successfully supporting top business leaders in an administrative role and interacting with customers or clients in a professional services setting.
  • Proactively support two partners’ efficiency, productivity, and peace of mind by identifying opportunities to serve, taking on administrative tasks, and managing day-to-day logistics - including organizing calendars, scheduling appointments, and helping them stay focused and prepared.
  • Prepare client deliverables, assist clients with general questions, and communicate in a clear, respectfully direct, and confidential manner.
  • Create positive impressions and nurture strong relationships by treating clients, applicants, and team members in ways that demonstrate our values.

This will not be the right opportunity for those who:

  • Don’t know how to smile through the phone or in person, and brighten a room
  • Don’t delight in interacting with and assisting others
  • Aren’t extremely detail-oriented
  • Lack the ability or desire to work and respond to client issues with a sense of urgency
  • Can’t anticipate busy business leaders' unspoken needs.

Please complete our questionnaire and submit your resume, cover letter, and any other information you'd like to submit.

This role pays between $25-30/hr
Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2026
