Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Long Island, NY who is a trusted provider of logistics and technical support solutions serving the aerospace, defense, and ground transportation industries. With more than 700 employees and long-standing customer partnerships, the company delivers scalable, reliable services tailored to complex operational environments.


The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing logistics operations for a newly established urban bus parts distribution center. This role ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced startup environment.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead all warehouse and distribution operations: receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping.
  • Manage frontline teams and ensure execution of operational strategies and KPIs.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with contractual service levels.
  • Act as primary operational contact for clients and manage exceptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement, digitalization, and safety compliance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or operations management, including team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and 3PL best practices.
  • Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in startup or operational launch environments is an asset.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
