Summary
The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of passengers while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations. When not driving, the driver may assist with general labor tasks on the jobsite as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Bus Driver will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner:
  • Checks vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order prior to every departure.
  • Inspects bus to ensure is in compliance within DOT and other applicable regulations.
  • Performs duties at the jobsite when not driving, including but not limited to any of the following:
    • Laborer work
    • Helping or assisting carpenters as needed
    • Stacking construction materials, or general cleaning duties around the job site

Requirements
  • Must have a CDL Class with P endorsement to drive a passenger bus
  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • DOT medical card
  • Must possess good customer service skills
