The Highland Local School District has an opening for Bus Drivers. The position will be for 185 days per school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Bus Driver shall possess a high school diploma or GED and meet all local, state, and federal requirements as determined by the Highland Board of Education or any other local, state, or federal authority empowered to enact specific licensing requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
The primary duty of the Bus Driver is to provide safe and efficient transportation of students.
Bus Drivers may be eligible for additional work such as extracurricular activities, field trips, athletics, etc.
This position requires a Class B-CDL or the ability to attain one. Paid training is offered to eligible applicants.
SALARY:
The person selected to fill this position will be placed at the appropriate step of the salary schedule contained in the negotiated agreement between the HSS and the Highland Board of Education, currently $24.55 - $32.33 per hour, dependent upon experience.  A $2,500.00 signing bonus is being offered.
