  • NEW YORK STATE COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE (ANY CLASS) WITH A PASSENGER AND STUDENT ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must possess or obtain a valid Commercial Drivers license, with both student and passenger endorsements

  • Must qualify following criminal and driving history checks in accordance with Federal, State and local guidelines

  • Must be able to pass, both upon initial employment and every two years a Department of Transportation physical examination per District guidelines

  • Must be able to read and comprehend the Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of School Transportation Vehicles

  • Must satisfactorily complete the NYCSBUS training program and driving test

  • Must attain an acceptable score on written examination pertaining to school bus laws and regulations

  • Must acquire and maintain a standard Red Cross first aid certificate

  • Must pass drug and alcohol and Department of Motor Vehicle report screenings prior to employment; with a valid state license or ID

Calificaciones
