Job description

Job Title- Class A Driver - Bulk Tanker Trailer Operator
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class A Driver with Tanker
endorsement to join our team. As a Class A Driver/Operator of Bulk Tanker Trailers, you
will be responsible for transporting and delivering bulk liquids, such as industrial
wastewater. Your expertise in operating bulk tanker trailers while adhering to FMCSA
regulations and ensuring the safe handling of all materials will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle equipped with a bulk tanker
trailer.
โ€ข Load and unload bulk liquids in accordance with industry-specific guidelines and
safety procedures.
โ€ข Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in optimal
working condition.
โ€ข Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations,
including hours of service (HOS) requirements, vehicle weight limits, and proper
documentation.
โ€ข Plan routes and ensure efficient delivery of goods while adhering to established
schedules and customer requirements.
โ€ข Follow established procedures for the safe and secure handling of wastewater,
including proper loading, unloading, and storage.
โ€ข Monitor and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, fuel consumption,
mileage, and other relevant documentation.
โ€ข Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers, and
provide excellent customer service.
โ€ข Respond to any emergencies, accidents, and spills promptly, following established
safety protocols and notifying the appropriate authorities as required.
โ€ข Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel,
ensuring the timely repair and upkeep of the vehicle and equipment.
โ€ข Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal
transportation regulations.
Requirements:
โ€ข Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tanker endorsement.
โ€ข Minimum of 2 years of experience operating bulk tanker trailers.
โ€ข Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past 7 years.
โ€ข FMCSA regulatory knowledge and experience, including familiarity with HOS
requirements, weight limits, and vehicle maintenance.
โ€ข Ability to handle and transport bulk liquids safely and in accordance with industryspecific guidelines and regulations.
โ€ข Strong understanding of safe driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and
road traffic regulations.
โ€ข Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with customers and resolve any service-related issues effectively.
โ€ข Attention to detail and accuracy in completing required documentation, including
inspection reports, delivery logs, and fuel consumption records.
โ€ข Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads as required.
