Job description

Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.


The Bulk Deli Clerk position consists of two different shifts. The morning shift begins the day replenishing product, as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, in a specifically assigned area. The Bulk Deli Clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the entire shift. The Bulk Deli Clerks will also maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.


The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
