Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including owners, architects, project managers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, contractors, and other design professionals from early design through construction and project closeout.
  • Perform and document renewable energy, carbon, wellness, water, daylight, etc. analyses for project goals and certifications (LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, etc.).
  • Organize, advise, and track design and construction activities toward a sustainable performance goal such as a certification or client standard
  • Develop in-house tools and educational content for new sustainability trends and design approaches.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in building sustainable design analysis, architectural design, or design engineering in a consulting environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, energy systems, architectural engineering, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/visual communication skills.
  • Eagerness to grow professionally and develop new skills.
  • LEED AP BD+C and/or ID+C accreditation, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
Additional skills considered a plus
  • LEED GA, CEM, CPHC, WELL AP, and/or Fitwel Ambassador accreditation
  • Sustainability analysis, graphic design, and/or data visualization experience including software such as Revit, Grasshopper, Radiance, eQuest, Rhino, Ladybug Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), etc.
