The Building & Corporate Services Technician will be a hands-on role supporting the Company through building maintenance, moving, construction projects, meeting preparations, and other ad hoc activities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a service-oriented mindset, and effective communication skills.


Job Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

  • Oversee the work of vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Obtain materials and supplies and perform routine maintenance activities.
  • Serve as a primary contact for any building maintenance inquiries such as minor plumbing issues, minor electrical issues, renovations, office furniture repair, construction, and replacement.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities and minor repairs including commercial HVAC systems, building automation systems, and other facility infrastructure.
  • Communicate with facilities management about any work that requires outside vendor or specialized contractor support.
  • Leverage experience to thoughtfully recommend facilities solutions and approaches that add value for the Company.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with Human Resources, Safety and Security, and other teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in building maintenance, construction, mechanical, or related technical work.
  • Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair, including HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, and related systems.
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate common hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company vehicle and insurance requirements.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; work at varying heights; and safely perform other physically demanding maintenance activities.
  • Customer-service orientation with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain maintenance needs, recommendations, and decisions.
  • Availability to participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial building construction or renovation projects
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, as required
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes, equipment and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities, maintain accountability and deliver quality results
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other common business applications
