Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, surgical suites, emergency rooms, and other clinical areas.

  • Perform terminal cleaning of discharged patient rooms following infection control guidelines.

  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces and restock supplies in restrooms and common areas.

  • Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste and sharps containers.

  • Operate hospital-grade cleaning equipment (e.g., UV disinfection systems, floor scrubbers).

  • Follow strict protocols for infection prevention, including use of PPE.

  • Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and spills.

  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate compassion in patient care areas.

  • Document cleaning activities as required by hospital policy.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of infection control and hospital sanitation standards.
