Job description

OurService Managerleads our Service Department to ensureprompt and effective service to customers and positions our Service Department to be the best in the business. In this role, you'llbe responsible for driving the performance of the service department by building, developing and ultimately retaining a great team. Developing plans to motivate, promotingimportant trainings, and coaching performance of service advisors, technicians and porters you'll be able to find success with customer satisfaction (CSI/NPS) and ultimately grow revenue in line with targeted business and financial objectives.

Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service reflective through the department CSI

  • Provide a high level of support to the new and used vehicle sales operations by ensuring their service needs are met in a timely and efficient manner

  • Ensure the correct handling of all aspects of the service transaction by thoroughly hiring, training and monitoring employees

  • Serving as a liaison between service advisors, technicians and customers

  • Manage and Hire Service Department employees - technicians and service advisors Prioritize required services

Qualifications
  • Must have at least 3 years of proven success as a Service Manager at a dealership or service repair shop experience

  • Intermediate computer proficiency is required; CDK/ADP experience a plus

  • Top level management skills with an impeccable work ethic, and positive attitude

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, always professional, a team player, passionate, driven

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
