Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie has exciting opportunities in multiple locations for upcoming graduates interested in full-time employment in the construction industry as an Assistant Field Manager.ย ย 

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned
  • Reviews and interprets shop drawings
  • Reviews submittals and expedites materials
  • Monitors production rates and schedules
  • Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity
  • Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list
  • Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement
  • Assists with reporting obligations

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
  • Must be an upcoming graduate of an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields will be considered.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior organizational skills
