Job description
Department: New Building
Lerch Bates is seeking a Associate Building Enclosure Consultant to join our Building Science team. This role is ideal for professionals looking to expand their expertise in building envelope consulting, enclosure design, and building enclosure commissioning (BECx) while developing into a fully independent Consultant role.
As an Associate Consultant, you will support and manage projects involving new construction and major renovation work, collaborating with Senior Consultants and project teams to deliver technical solutions that improve building performance. You will gain hands-on experience in design review, quality assurance, field testing, client communication, and project management while building technical depth and leadership skills.
Please Note: The internal title for this position is Associate Consultant within our New Building department.
Become an Employee-Owner
One of the biggest advantages of working at Lerch Bates is that we are 100% employee-owned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Unlike many companies that offer only a salary and retirement plan, eligible employees receive company-funded ESOP shares at no cost to them as part of their long-term retirement benefits.
As Lerch Bates grows, employee-owners share in the company's success. For many employees, the ESOP becomes one of the most valuable financial benefits of their career by helping build meaningful long-term wealth in addition to their salary and traditional 401(k).
When you join Lerch Bates, you are not just building better buildings. You also have the opportunity to build your financial future alongside the company's success.
