Job description

PCI Federal is interviewing for a Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX. This position will provide oversight for the preventive and routine maintenance, standard and on-call emergency repairs, and custodial services for the building, equipment, and infrastructure at Federal Facilities.
The Project Manager will be responsible to the Government for overall management control and accountability for technical performance, cost and schedule control requirements and general management of specific projects assigned to them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Directly responsible for all aspects of the effort and shall possess the autonomy from the corporate headquarters to execute the effort unimpeded by corporate management and will have full authority to commit and control funds and resources assigned to the contract.
  • Responsible for the successful performance of the contract and ensuring project safety and quality control.
  • Primary liaison with the Government customer; responsible to develop and maintain proactive working relationships with your team members, subcontractors, and other Government personnel.
  • Monitors and reports program execution status and provide weekly status reports that inspire and capture progress and issues.
  • Monitor technical, financial, and management performance per contract requirements and ensure cost control at each organizational level.
  • Review, approve, and report project resources time allocation and correlating invoice processing.
  • Evaluate program labor hour execution against contractual performance criteria then analyze, recommend, and report findings on a regular basis.
  • Establish and monitor detailed workflows and resourcing plans, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, resolve conflicts, and manage progress with confidence.
  • Foresee a project's obstacles, risks, and constraints and effectively plan around them.
  • Responsible for recruitment of qualified personnel, corporate hire packets, training, and retention; and ensure the selection and assignment of qualified personnel with demonstrated competence in their area of expertise.
  • Delegate management authority to Fortis Chief Engineers / O amp;M Supervisors for their area and hold accountable for meeting performance goals.
  • Communicate project goals, objectives, and performance accomplishments through staff meetings, memos, and management.
  • Establish incentive programs to motivate the work force to provide the best possible service to the customer.
  • On site representative for monitoring of contract compliance with local union.
  • Manage personnel scheduling, time keeping, and ensure purchase and inventory is controlled and maintained.
  • Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
  • Implement and monitor the Safety Program to minimize safety hazards.
  • Manage report mechanisms in filing disability and workers compensation cases.
  • Responsible for compliance to OSHA regulations.
  • Review annually health and safety, OSHA, and other specialized technical work-related issues.
  • Assure that all reports submitted to the client are completed accurately and within set times per contract.
  • Implement a quality control program, conduct inspections, and modify the program to provide for correction of deficiencies identified.
  • Maintain accurate documents on all equipment and systems.
  • Monitor submittals of deliverables per contract requirements.
  • Ensure all training of staff is performed as required.
  • Select and monitor performance of subcontractor operations.
  • Attend briefings, conferences, and other Government designated meetings as required in the execution of this effort, or as requested.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites operations from a central location. ***
  • Work closely/ meet regularly with Fortis Regional Operations Management to ensure that all company initiatives and guidance are routinely met and discuss any challenges/successes.
Non-Essential Duties:
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • The Project Manager shall possess, at a minimum, at least five (5) years of recent (within the past seven (7) years) experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations, custodial services, building alterations and customer relations for buildings of the approximate size and characteristics of the buildings to be covered by this position.
  • Experience with CMMS systems for building management, inventory control, and work orders.
  • Highly proficient computer skills with Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Knowledge in operations and maintenance of facilities, utilities (water amp; sewer), installed building equipment/systems, and high voltage distribution systems.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and all required Federal Government criminal background check (HSPD -12), etc.
  • Possess current, valid driverโ€™s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or BOMI certification in related field desired.
  • Experience in federal contracts.
  • Experience with Maximo for building management, inventory control, and work orders.
